Cisco Systems MEA Staff were given the chance to win one Billion Dollars during the ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’ TV style Quiz show hosted by a Chris Tarrant look-alike. Satellite, a leading presentation company, based at Dubai Media City, provided wireless keypads for the audience for the ‘Ask the Team’ section.
The use of these keypads allows each participant to respond to questions anonymously, and to see a real-time display of all participants’ responses. The questions themselves are created with software that directly adds into PowerPoint®, thus making the system very easy to use by anyone already familiar with creating PowerPoint® slides.
Satellite, which focuses on next-generation digital media, services and solutions, is pioneering the use of this technology in conferences and events.
“Involving the audience gives the whole event an electric atmosphere,” said John Quinn, Director, Satellite. “Audience member are no longer passive listeners but are now actively involved. Event Organizers who have embraced this technology have found that it has revolutionized their events.” he said.
